Barley Creek Brewing Company, the Pocono Mountains’ original brewpub, was established in 1995. Designed like a traditional Pennsylvania timber-frame barn, Barley Creek Brewing Company became the first microbrewery in the Pocono Mountains since the Prohibition. Some unique items that make Barley Creek unique include: a Brewtique and Beer-Bear in our “living room;” a full canoe on top of a mug rack; a mailbox made out of a beer keg (the “Ale Box”); and an official wiffle ball stadium. They even feature musical events right outside their pub, where you might be able to grab a beer, listen to some tunes, and catch some fireworks.
